Hot summers night

I like you more than I let on,
I can't help the way I do,
I want to be with you in this hot summers night anon,
If I lie here now, will you love me too?

What do I say to call you home,
Cling to me like this humidity,
Your hot breath, I need alone,
But I know you cannot, Yet I still love thee,

The moon sends me hope, your telegraphs more,
I want to cup your cheek, in this night, today,
You leave me strangled, dangled, more than sore,
please come home safe, sane, I pray,

In this hot summers night, I miss you my Love,
Fly back to me darling, Send me a dove
